Snaring rabbits or snowshoe hares using birch tips as bait. I call this set the birch tip pen, or birch tip gate set. This is a very effective method of snaring rabbits, and even more so, if you build a pen around the birch tips coupled with gates. I've seen many times setting 4 snares and having rabbits in each snare. Hope you enjoy the beautiful clear winter skies of Labrador as I try to cure the old cabin fever.
