Not even a year after the fires in 2020 Napa Valley, we take a look to see what happened. How will the fires affect climate change here? Will Napa recover?
In this video I go to Atlas Peak area - on Soda Canyon Road, to show what happened in the aftermath of the Fires of 2017.
Then, we go up the road to Spring Mountain District, which was one of the main sites in the 2020 Napa fires. This area is in a severe state, and needs proper forest remediation. I was happy to see that a grove of redwoods survived even though the trunks were scorched.
Nature could use our help right now. And Napa Valley has an incredible opportunity to show us how to do it right. I'm still hopeful even with extreme pressures of climate change, that there are solutions. It's never too late to try.
