On July 27, 2022, at 08:43:24 a.m. (PHT), an earthquake struck the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported the earthquake as having a magnitude of 7.0 Mw , with an epicenter in Abra province. Ten people were reported dead and 136 were injured.
