This video was filmed in early June 2020. Mt Charleston is a great place to hike when Las Vegas gets too hot! Located an hour away from the Las Vegas strip is a forested mountain paradise filled with amazing hiking trails. This is the North loop trail, which is one of the more challenging hiking trails in the park. I hike the North Loop Trail from the beginning all the way to Trail Canyon and back, which is a 7.5-mile round trip and labeled as strenuous. It's a beautiful hike where you pass many ancient Bristlecone Pine Trees and amazing views all around.
