Turning Point Scotland are saddened to confirm the closure of 218 service in February 2024.

The innovative 218 service opened its doors in December 2003. For 20 years, 218 offered around 50 women a “time out” of their normal, usually challenging circumstances – without resorting to a custodial sentence- where they could explore and address the causes of their offending behaviour.

The short film captures the knowledge, skill and commitment of the staff and the difference it made to so many women.
