Here's what looks like a firmware bug on the Keysight DSO7000/MSO7000 series scopes. I'd imagine it also covers the DSO6000/MSO6000 too (not to be confused with the MSOX6000 series, a completely different scope!).
Firmware is 6.20.0000 which appears to be the latest.
The error manifests itself in zoom mode when changing the timebase from around 2us +/- down to the next step: it jumps straight to 500ps rather than stepping through the nanoseconds. A similar thing happens in the opposite direction.
It works fine outside of zoom mode.
Edit: reverting to 6.16 firmware fixes it.
Edit2: This also affect the DSO/MSO6000A scopes too in version 6.20: you can find a sys6000.jzp for 6.16 on the Eevblog forum, post #642 of the thread "Agilent MSO 5000/6000/7000 - anyone hacked these scopes?" as Keysight only has the 6.20 firmware hosted on their website.
