But starting June 1st, 2021, any newly uploaded photos and videos made to Google Photos will start to count against your 15GB account limit. This storage limit will be shared across multiple Google services (Gmail, Google Photos, Drive, Docs, Slides, etc).
It won't matter if you choose to upload at high quality or full quality.
On that day, any video and photos uploaded to Google Photos will count toward your storage limit. Your options are to either pay the monthly subscription to Google One or to manage what you upload with the application.
Since many people have already uploaded photos and videos at original quality, they may want to compress those down in an attempt to free up space inside Google Photos. Thankfully, there's a button we can use to do that.
The only trick is, Google has yet to add it to the application (as of uploading this video). So let me show you where to find it.
