Depaul UK is one of the biggest charities for young homeless people in the UK. Since its launch in 1989, it has helped more than 50,000 people with accommodation, family mediation, training and employment. In a sector in which big-budget TV campaigns are not uncommon, Depaul UK, a charity supporting homeless young people, faced a major challenge: how to create cut-though in a saturated market on a budget of just £6000. For this they were awarded top honours for best Not-For-Profit-Campaign and Marketing on a shoestring. The Marketing Society Awards for Excellence judges alo used their power to bestow an additional prize for leading-edge thinking to their marketing concept which demonstrated exceptional originality.
