We all know that India got the chairmanship of Shanghai Cooperation Organization for 2023. The summit of this group was also hosted by India on July 4. In this conference, the international community was appealed to combat the activities of terrorism, separatism and extremist groups and stop the spread of religious intolerance, aggressive nationalism, ethnic and racial discrimination etc. Along with this, it has also been agreed to focus on areas like digital inclusion, youth empowerment, startup, and innovation. During this conference, Iran officially achieved the status of a member of the grouping
