Welcome to the NFPA LiNK® YouTube channel answering key questions or challenges related to electrical, fire, and life safety.
With easy-to-use digital access to NFPA® codes and standards, NFPA LiNK is your window to productivity.
This video demonstration covers the important points of the grounding electrode system. A grounding electrode system is comprised of two basic items:
1. Grounding electrode—a conducting object with direct connection to earth being established.
2. Grounding electrode conductor—used to connect the system grounded conductor (neutral conductor) or the equipment, to a grounding electrode or a point on the grounding electrode system.
Find a situation image on NFPA DiRECT® by clicking the pin icon, on the side navigation bar. Then choose “System” from the four options to find the library menu. Scroll down alphabetically to “Grounding Electrode System.”
