There are many ways to blend sideburns into your beard, and since we're all about education here at Sam Villa, we wanted to share a method that we've been using. Watch this video to learn how you can easily blend sideburns into your beard along with tips for trimming hair around the hairline and ears.

1. Brush your beard down into its natural position using the Sam Villa Artist Series Handle Comb
2. Place the tip of the comb midway up your sideburn with the teeth of the comb facing the back of your head
3. Angle the comb 45° away from your head, lifting the comb at the handle and leaving the tip of the comb touching your sideburn
4. Use a trimmer to remove any excess hairs appearing through the comb
5. Repeat the same process but this time point the teeth of the comb toward the front of your head. Place the tip of the comb mid-sideburn, tilt 45° away from the head, lifting the handle, and trim the hairs that pop through.
6. Switch to the Sam Villa Artist Series Detail Comb and using the fine teeth slide the comb into the top of your sideburn with the teeth facing away from your face, tilt the comb 45° with the tip of your comb still touching your sideburn and remove any hair that comes through the comb.
7. Using your detail comb, comb the hair in front of your ear toward your ear and use your trimmer to remove and long hairs.
8. Do the same thing at your hairline, combing hair near your hairline toward your face and then remove the long hairs with your trimmer.
9. Fold your ear down and comb the hair above your ear down toward your ear, removing longer hairs with your trimmer.

And there you have it! That's how we recommend that you blend your sideburns into your beard and keep your hairline looking clean.
