What was once a dirty oil rig in the middle of the ocean has since been transformed into a beautiful hotel. With some spectacular views and open ocean breezes, if you like being near the water then this place is definitely for you. The hotel caters to avid divers and pretty much offers diving excursions nonstop. The oil rig is located next to Mabul Island in the Coral Triangle in Sabah, Borneo. The diving at Seaventures is considered to be technical diving, so if you’re a beginner it probably isn’t for you. They also offer cave diving classes at a place called Turtle Tomb. There are 28 different rooms available on the rig and two beautiful suites. If you are a traveller on a budget, they even have quad bed cabins!
