La Tomatina is the Festival (Fiesta) of the small town of Bunol, which is just 30 mins outside of Valencia. La Tomatina's number one event is the massive tomato fight held on the last Wednesday of August each year at 11am in the morning in the main street of the old town.

La Tomatina attracts thousands of participants that come from all over the world to fight in the famous tomato throwing battle where the streets are guaranteed to flow red with tomato juice.
