Organisers of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras have revealed that the 2025 event will be scaled back after it required $1.1 million in funds from the City of Sydney and the state government to stay afloat this year.
It comes as it was set to be hit with a $1.095 million deficit by June.
