LG continues selling defective Fridges using the linear compressor technology (so called technology). Your fridge will NOT cool (even at the highest setting) food under FDA recommended 40 degrees and your food WILL spoil (why risk your family’s health), also as you can see from this video the top freezer part, even at the lowest setting WILL fail as well, look at those ice bergs forming after just 5 months new. AVOID this brand for fridges and save your family from foodborne diseases as well as your pocket from any money losses. Google LG class action lawsuit and you will find what I’m telling you here is 100% accurate / true. Forget buying an LG fridge for the wrong reasons like “good price” or “looks good”, it is not worth the headaches you will have on many fronts.

***January 6th, 2020 UPDATE. After contacting LG customer service for a refund on this worthless appliance, LG has refused to acknowledge my purchase even though I provided them with a Home Depot receipt as well as the bill of lading from the date the fridge was delivered (clear bill of lading scan and copy of the electronic home depot receipt). LG claims they need a paper receipt, totally fraudulent and dishonest company, how do they expect me to have a “paper receipt” as if I bought this at the store, this fridge was purchased ONLINE, therefore I have a receipt in my home depot account (LG = idiots and burglars, DO NOT give them your hard earned money).
