Easy to make LITTLE SMOKIES Wrapped in BACON are perfect crowd pleasers!! VERY ADDICTIVE!! Recipe below...
LITTLE SMOKIES WRAPPED IN BACON
(Makes 36)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Increase heat to 400 degrees F. last part of baking.
16 ounce (1Pound) Cheese or Beef Little Smokies Or other small 1-inch long sausages
1/4 stick butter, melted
1 LB thin sliced bacon, cut into equal thirds lengthwise
1-1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
1. Wrap each Little Smokies in bacon. Place by rolls in a 13"X9" baking dish.
2. Mix melted butter with 1 cup brown sugar. Spread evenly over tops of bacon wrapped Smokies.
3. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of brown sugar evening over the top.
4. Bake in preheated 375 degree F. oven for 20-30 minutes. Increase oven heat to 400 degrees F. and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until desired crisp on bacon.
5. Place a festive toothpick in each BACON WRAPPED LITTLE SMOKIE before adding to serving plate.
TIPS: Cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.
