This is a short video reviewing the latest generation E2 Catch Can system and Clean Side separator from Elite Engineering. The benefits of a catch can are obvious with today's direct injected motors. Oil blowby contaminates the intake manifold and cokes up the top sides of intake valves. Over time and mileage, this valve coking can cause big issues. Elit'es catch can is developed to stop that oil blowby from ever reaching the intake manifold.
With a 3 chamber design, oil/air mixture from the crankcase is passed through a stainless steel media that collects the oil in the reservoir. Clean air is then directed back out of the can through a separate chamber.
