Nina Ottoson Treat Maze Interactive Game for Cats Review on Chewy: [ Ссылка ]

We received two of these treat mazes from The Company of Animals that sells the Nina Ottoson Treat Maze Interactive Games.  We received the one for cats (it's blue and pink) and the one for dogs (blue and red).  The one for dogs is much bigger than the one for cats (see video).

The Nina Ottoson Treat Maze Interactive Game for Cats is a great maze to have around if you work during the day and have a busy cat that is food motivated.  It doesn't require a lot of intelligence as there is no way to really get the treats out other than for the cat to bat at it.  Or as someone said in the reviews on Amazon, "Only way is to shake it vigourosly to get one or two treats out. It might be great if your cats can smash it against the wall."  Oh man, that makes me laugh - it really does take a lot of patience to get the treats out...

As you can see in the photo above, the maze is the shape of a spaceship and the maze is on the inside and as the cat bats at the spaceship the treats move around in the maze and then fall out on the sides - the sides are rubbery, which makes it hard to pull out of the box, but allows the pet to get a grip on the toy.

I love puzzle toys such as this one for pets because they can curtail boredom and therefore prevent bad behavior.  I think it is great for a busy cat or a busy dog that might not be the sharpest tool in the shed.

You also need to use small dry treats for this - as the top hole where you put the treats in is very small.

For a few weeks, I thought this puzzle toy for cats was below Charlie's intelligence level.  And it might still be, however, I found it a perfect thing to put in front of him right before I hopped on a conference call because it kept him entertained while I needed to stay focused.
