On Tuesday, the UPDF spokesperson Brig. Flavia Byekwaso confirmed that the Uganda People Defence Forces (UPDF) and the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo had launched a joint operation against the Allied Democratic Forces.
Byekwaso spoke to NTV at the UPDF headquarters in Mbuya, Kampala.
