This week, I’ll be trying what is currently dubbed as the UK’s most expensive rail journey, Heathrow Express’ Business First Class! At a fixed price of £32 for a single regardless of how far in advance you book it and which discount cards you use, this gives a price per mile of £2, only exceeded by the Luton DART which officially launches on March 27th and isn’t a National Rail service!
