President Yoweri Museveni Monday commissioned firefighting and emergency equipment for the Police force for various local governments to ensure security of persons and property at the Namanve Industrial Park. The equipment was procured under the government program to provide road construction, sanitary and firefighting equipment at a total cost of US $ 100 million.The President also commended the Uganda Police for controlling riots in Kampala professionally with the exception of a few incidents and the Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kaihura for removing the bad image of the Police force.
