Gokyo is a small village in Solukhumbu District in the Himalayas of Nepal, It is located at an elevation of 4750m. Gokyo lake is a less frequent trekking route in the Everest region, which is considered an alternative to the classic Everest Base Camp Trek. These lakes are considered as a holy lake for both Buddhist as well as Hindu pilgrimage. There is a temple of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva in the eastern side of the lake. During the festival of Janai Purnima, the lakes are visited by hundreds of people. In this video i am showing the beauty of Gokyo to Thagnak ( on the way to chola pass)
