Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) Chair Gina Cass-Gottlieb says she is “concerned” about the impact of the closure of the budget airline Bonza.
This comes amid Bonza entering voluntary administration and cancelling all flights.
“The ACCC is keen to see stronger competitive forces in the airline sector,” Ms Cass-Gottlieb told Sky News Australia.
“We are very conscious this is a highly concentrated sector.
“We are concerned at the development that has occurred with Bonza.”
