It’s not as easy as it used to be to nab a ticket to tour the #washingtonmonument but the experience is so worth it, so plan ahead!
Walk-up tix are possible, but you can also reserve timed tickets at recreation.gov. (It’s FREE to visit, but a $1 charge per ticket covers the online reservation service.)
Once there, you’ll have a short elevator ride up 500 feet to see some of the most spectacular views of the Capital City! Look out for landmarks in each direction!
