It was a pleasure to spend a day as a resident of Vranduk, a medieval town in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The medieval atmosphere as well as written records from the Middle Ages give a special charm to this fortress, which is also called the Gate of Bosnia. Medieval Europe is particularly rich in history, castles and architecture from that era are especially worth exploring.

The fortress, like everything around it, irresistibly reminds of a long-forgotten time. You can find here weapons as well as tools dating back to the Middle Ages.

You can feel like Robin Hoody and test your skills with a bow and arrow. Vranduk fortress is a perfect day trip if you are traveling in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
