Jaipur (Rajasthan) October 21 (ANI): Reviewing the seasonal diseases and COVID vaccination campaign, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that prevention and treatment of dengue and other seasonal diseases should be ensured with the similar promptness as the state has dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic.During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the district administration, medical department and local bodies to work in full coordination to effectively control seasonal diseases by increasing better treatment, cleanliness and awareness. "Negligence will not be tolerated at any level," CM Gehlot said. Expressing that the coronavirus pandemic posed a big challenge to the medical management of the whole world and the possibility of a third wave still remains, CM Gehlot instructed the officials to make proper arrangements so that seasonal diseases shouldn't become an epidemic.
He directed them to ensure adequate arrangements from district to village level for treatment and prevention of diseases like Dengue, Malaria, Scrub Typhus, Chikungunya, Swine flu. The Chief Minister also instructed the local bodies to do regular fogging and the district administration to continuously monitor the seasonal diseases. (SA)
