For the first time since the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Saudi Arabia called the Hamas leader's killing a 'flagrant violation' of Iran's sovereignty. Waleed Al-Khuraiji added that Saudi Arabia rejects "any violation of the sovereignty of states or interference in the internal affairs of any country." The comments came at an emergency summit called by the Islamic bloc OIC.
