Oh hey, another 2D Mufasa video in a row! I was working on this video first but burned out and went for the shorter one posted yesterday, and then finished this one. It took me a total of two-ish days (especially with the goddamn frame-by-frame key editing that continues to be the bane of my existence, but I managed to pull it off in record timing, just in time for the holiday season.
This trailer is different from the final trailer that we had gotten at the beginning of the month. It was originally released in China, and later the U.S as a non-domestic trailer. The U.S. version is listed as the "final English trailer" so I decided to put it as such. Hope that clears up any confusion.
In all honesty, this would've kicked ass as a domestic trailer. Everything about it just radiates "Lion King prequel trailer" energy and it once again, raises so many expectations of mine. I'm fully down with the CGI (which actually looks very good) if it means we get this.
