In this video we see a clear case of bacterial otitis externa (aka swimmer’s ear), most likely caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Staphylococcus aureus. Ear infections can be fungal (otomycosis), however there is no visible hyphae in this case (spore like growths) and the patient has not responded to antifungal medication in the past.
