Kampala capital city Law enforcement officers have resumed work amid tight security.
The officers have been off the city streets after they were threatened by vendors following the death of one of their colleagues whose drowning they allegedly caused in the Nakivubo channel earlier this month.
The vendors who had earlier vowed to disregard the order made by the minister of kampala Betty kamya to get off the streets, stayed away today.
KCCA deputy spokesperson Robert Kalumba have advised them to take advantage of the existing stalls in gazetted markets.
