The final event of the EU-funded project YPACK was held on the 1st of October 2020. The webinar was recorded for everyone interested to take part in the discussions and presentations. We are proud to present the results and lessons learned from this three-year EU-funded collaboration on sustainable food packaging.

– How the production and processing of the biopolymer PHA can adapt to existing systems
– How consumers react to and accept food packaging made with the PHA biopolymer
– How the YPACK solutions have been evaluated for the food industry and retailers
The YPACK project began in 2017 and has gathered together partners from 21 key actors and stakeholders in the field of novel food packaging. For the past three years, the YPACK partners have collaborated to upscale this sustainable food packaging and prepare it for the market.
