YDAMYS SIMO did not disappoint her loyal base at Style Fashion Week aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in NYC! In fact, she never disappoints; from the rich textures and vibrant colors that floated down the runway, to her music selection, not a single detail was left unattended.
The young models walked confidently, and represented YDAMYS SIMO 'Vintage Garden Collection' September 2017. With bold greens in emerald, marigold, and vibrant pops of uniquely placed oranges and pinks; this was another home run for fans of captivating color, print, and texture placement. YDAMYS SIMO breathes life into every garment she designs, and each garment is coupled with an equally amazing young person to walk it down the runway.
Everyone of her models were carefully selected and flawlessly placed inside of YDAMYS SIMO design and color story. Effortlessly the girls walked out with a classic red lip and vintage hairstyle to marry the dramatic design story being told. YDAMYS SIMO veterans were on stage, like, Kayla Cizmar, Paola Cancel, Gabriella Garcia, and Lakyn Campbell and mixed with newcomers to the line: Angela Rose, and and Reece Harley. This is something that we love about this label, there is always a sophisticated mixture of familiarity and fresh faces.
Style Fashion Week, as always was top of their game, as we would expect nothing less from such a prestigious brand during Fashion Week in NY. This was YDAMYS SIMO second season showing with StyleFW and the coupling couldn't be better!
Sophistication, class, and true design elements prove to keep us coming back for more EVERY season. We anxiously await for her next showing in LA this October (Also with StyleFW). And to drive home how much she cares for those who support her and her brand -- all of the models, families, and vendors associated with the Fashion Week Victory were treated to a chic New York skyline afterparty at the trendy Yotel in Manhattan! Hosted by Stacie Fitzgerald owner of STARZ, the party was a whirlwind of dancing, giggles, and of course 'tres-chic blanc attire'. The 't's' were crossed and 'i's' dotted with a full red carpet production, hosted by Lakyn Campbell, and walked by some of the top up-and-coming young models in the business.
