This is a swarm I caught in 2018. It landed under the bottom board of an empty hive I'd set up. It made them very easy to catch! I found and caged the queen, hived the bees, put some food on them, and came back a few days later to mark the queen and release her. She seemed a bit stunned after marking, but soon got moving again. This queen is still going strong a year later, and is due for a split.
