One in every six calls for service in policing relates to incidents of domestic abuse. Often the first call for service is the very tip of an iceberg with a victim of domestic abuse experiencing multiple instances of abuse before they have the courage to report. The policing response must be efficient and effective.

In this Wednesday Webinar we spoke to Leicestershire Police about their approach and the tools they are using to engage remotely with domestic abuse victims in an empathetic and efficient manner. You will hear about the careful steps taken by the forces Domestic Abuse Reduction Team (DART), and some of the very positive outcomes from this significant, nationally recognised approach.
