When adding a fishfinder to a kayak everyone doesn’t feel comfortable drilling holes in the kayak. So this is how I added my transducer mount without drilling any holes. Use the items below and your scupper hole to add it under the kayak. I’ve been using it this way for a long time and haven’t had any problems.

4’’ PVC Riser used for connecting to sprinkler heads. Check the size of your scupper 1st before you buy this. Cost $0.77

1’’ x ¾’’ schedule 40 reducing female adapter. I couldn’t find the link from Home Depot, but I did buy it from there, they do have it. Cost $0.49 (may be a little bit more from Home Depot)

1’’ X 24’’ PVC pipe. For what I did you only need about ½’’ of this, so maybe you can use the rest on another project. Cost $2.34

2-Pole Flat Extension. You will need at least 2 of them. Cut them in half, use one on the fishfinder and the other on the battery. The 2nd one cut in half and use for the charger(make sure to use the right end so it will plug into the battery)
