There's been around 20 Pokemon movies and only one Digimon movie. I mean, that speaks volumes without context but when you consider the "movie" was just made up of 3 30-minute short films anyway, then OBVIOUSLY you can tell that this was done just because Fox wanted to reap the success of the first two Pokemon movies for themselves...it's not that bad, though, but eh.
