With the completion of five phases of Lok Sabha elections, polls are over in 53 out of the 80 seats of Uttar Pradesh. The sixth and seventh phases of the elections will cover the seats in UP's Prayag and Purvanchal regions. Both the BJP and the SP are throwing all their might in campaigning in the region and the former has unleashed its top brass including PM Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah and UP CM Yogi Adityanath in campaigning. In the Prayag region, UP deputy CM Keshav Maurya has addressed several rallies and is seeking votes for the party's candidates. Expecting to win all 80 seats in UP, Maurya says that the opposition knows that Modi will return as PM and hence, they don't want to work hard to seek votes. On the lack of enthusiasm among RSS workers towards the election campaign, he said that the RSS workers are dedicated to society and they are doing their best to bring voters to polling booths. He said that RSS workers don't have a direct role as political workers but they fulfill their national duty. On JP Nadda's interview that BJP needed RSS earlier but is now running itself, he said that the PM, HM and BJP national president have all emerged from RSS shakhas. Stating that the opposition's claims of changing Constitution are laughable, he said that no one has been able to finish the Constitution & won't be able to do so in future too. Asked about Nadda's statement that BJP has no plans of having temples at Kashi-Mathura, he said that they will wait for court order but leaving claim on Kashi-Mathura was impossible. One should consider Nadda's opinion on Kashi-Mathura as BJP's point of view, he said but as a devotee of Krishna and Shiva, he will wait for court order to remove structures at Kashi-Mathura and construct temples there.
