Straight cutting irrigated canola (58 bu/ac). The crop was sprayed with roundup about 8 days previous, but the roundup didn't seem to do much to the crop (Liberty Link). The straw was very green indeed, though the seeds were 6.8% moisture. A few very green patches here and there in the crop as well that were definitely sprayed. Makes me wonder if roundup ready genes are finding their way into Liberty Link canola. With a rotary combine (Case IH 8120), the green straw was a hard grind.
