Daffodils could help the fight against climate change by cutting the amount of methane produced by cows.
Scientists are trailing a new method of adding an extract from the flowers to livestock feed which has been shown to reduce methane in artificial cow stomachs by 96%.
The technique developed by the scientists at Scotland's Rural College is being tested on farms across the UK.
