Paturi is a traditional bengali method of cooking fish using banana leaf. This dish is mainly prepared in Bengali homes. Besides steaming, it can also be pan fried. We showcased the pan fried version. Here we have shown chingri macher paturi / prawns paturi. My grandma used to prepare this recipe for me in Kolkata. Later on I tried this recipe in my own kitchen.
It is an extremely easy, simple and an unique recipe that is so yummy and goes well with hot steamed rice. A drizzle of some mustard oil in this recipe enhances the flavour of the dish.
Must try this recipe, it's simple, delicious and divine.
