Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu, while attending the parliamentary meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on 7 June, extended his party's support to the NDA, and proposed the name of Narendra Modi for the post of the Prime Minister of India.
He added that in Modi, India found the "right leader at the right time".
