Line the basket with cardboard
Fill the basket with multi–purpose compost
Here I am using shop brought coriander seed that is used for cooking
Must Indian / Asian stores stock this type of coriander seed
Here in the UK I have seen it in all the major supermarkets asda, tesco, morrisons etc
I usual let some of it go to seed and save it for next years planting
This is optional if you crush the seeds it will germinate quicker
spreed the seed evanly and add some more compost just enough to cover the seeds
water in and put the basket in a clear bag for a two or three week to germinate. (if you are in hot country it will take about a week to germinate)
Once the coriander has germinated remove the bag
In another two to three weeks it should be ready for harvest
This batch has been harvest about three times already and I am letting it go to seed so that I can save the seed for planting next year.
