Varroc Engineering which announced the sale of its lighting business back in April 2022 hits a road bump. The company announced a few amendments to the deal. Now the company will receive EUR 520 million for the lighting business as against EUR 600 million announced earlier. Moreover, the company will now have to shell out another EUR 51.1 million as payment towards the out-of-court settlement of IPR infringement litigation.
The settlement of this litigation was necessary for the sale of lighting deal to go through. Varroc will be paying EUR 51.1 million to Valeo Vision.
