Through the support of PEPFAR/USAID, our USAID Afya Yangu Southern Program provides services to children living with HIV/AIDS. One of the services that is managed by the program is providing services to children on Saturdays through the Saturday Clinic, which is a clinic for all children living with HIV/AIDS. During this day, health workers assess the challenges of ART dosage and adherence and provide age-appropriate adherence support to children through these clinics. The day also provides children with enough time to examine their challenges, enjoy themselves together, and receive the necessary training. These services are now available to about 300 health facilities out of the 676 that are supported by USAID Afya Yangu Southern.
