Following the attacks in Paris on the Charlie Hebdo offices and the Jewish supermarket, British imams and scholars were invited to Paris to meet the leadership of the French Muslim community, to talk about their challenges and share some ideas that have been used in the UK.
"The Prophet has never asked anyone to take a life to defend his honour, he was a mercy to mankind, he showed love, he cared about all people, all faiths, all living beings. People have been murdered in cold blood and we wanted to come, show our solidarity and also reach out to Muslims across Europe and share a common European Islamic identity."
