The process of making a sintered magnet starts with raw materials being melted in a furnace and molded into strip casting alloys. The SC alloys are pulverized and further milled; the powder is then sintered into densified rough blocks. Those blocks are then heat-treated, machined to shape, surface treated, and finally magnetize and packaged.
