Lucian, the protagonist of the Underworld franchise, appears in the movies Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. He was initially introduced as an antagonist in Underworld but later becomes the main character in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.
Lucian was the first Lycan and the founder of the Lycan race. He led the Lycan resistance against the vampires during their enslavement under Viktor's rule. Lucian's love interest, Sonja, was a vampire, and their forbidden relationship further complicated the conflict between the two species. Lucian's actions shaped the events of all the Underworld movies, making him a pivotal character in the franchise.
