Turkish air strikes target Kurdish fighters in Iraq and Syria.
Turkish planes have bombed what it says are Kurdish rebel positions in both Syria and Iraq.
A Turkish official said about 200 PKK fighters were killed in the strikes around Sinjar Mountains in Iraq.
The military said the men were smuggling weapons into Turkey to carry out attacks there.
A UK-based Syrian monitoring group said at least 18 US-backed Syrian Kurdish fighters were killed in the Syrian operation.
Iraq's Kurdish Peshmerga said some of its fighters were also killed in the strikes.
Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra reports from Gaziantep, close to Turkey's border with Syria.
