Delanie: What for you makes change management such wonderful work and meaningful work?
Tim: Yeah, great question. I really do think change management's meaningful work. I think, you know, the data is abundantly clear that if we help our people in times of change, projects are more successful, you get a 6x bump in the likelihood of getting project results. And we also know from the data that organizational success rates go up. If we get better at managing change across the portfolio, the whole portfolio change gets more successful. But in the end, I really think that change management's meaningful work because it's the right way to treat people. Like this is where our people spend tons of their time. They come in in the morning, they leave in the evening, like work and life are integrated. And when we are putting our employees through a change, to not prepare them, to not equip them, to not support them, to not treat them with the dignity that we should treat our most valuable asset, that's just not the right way to treat people. And so to me, change management, it's more than getting project results. It's treating people right, the people that make up our organization. That's why it's meaningful work to me.
