Sifaka's have a unique way of traveling across the ground. Unlike the lemurs who strut on all fours with their tails in the air, the sifakas leap or jump on their hind legs with the arms and tail failing about for balance, which is efficient but very comical looking. And they move very quickly as they are obviously more comfortable in the trees and only use this method when the gap between trees is too far to jump.
